When you don’t understand that God is holy, you create a God in your own image. God instructs us to be holy because He is holy; we need to be an example of Christ. Isaiah 6:3-5, Mark 4:34-41, Hebrews 11:18-21, Proverbs 15:33
Obedience is better than sacrifice, but our obedience to God will cost us. Once we are obedient in what God wants us to do now, then he will tell us the next step. 1 Sam 2:26, 1 Sam 8:7, 1 Sam 13:13-14, 1 Sam 15:10-11, Ps 119:105, Phil 3:13-14, 2 Cor 12:9
